Images are two dimensional. Second Life is three dimensional. This is the root of the problem of creating simple logo based clothing in Second Life. If you just slap the logo onto the clothing it comes out all distorted.
This utility helps with that problem. I've calcualted the warping that takes place and can apply the reverse to your logos, so that they come out looking "right" when wrapped around a 3D Second Life avatar. Magic!
OK. Not all magic. Before you sell your stock in all those premier tailors in Second Life, let me state a few caveats.
Firstly the warps are estimated with only a certain number of key points. Over time these will improve, but they aren't perfect. Second, the warps were calculated based on the standard male and female avatars. The more your specific avatar's shape differs from the default the less "right" the image will look. Also the warps were calculated to look "right" from directly ahead and directly behind.
The bottom line is that this is not a tool to produce premier clothing for Second Life. It's a tool for making moderately good, quick stuff. If you want to sell what you make from images created from this tool... well good luck to you. You have my blessings. If you make a billion lindens from such sales... even better luck to you. Any lindens you send to my avatar (Jaymin Carthage) will be donated to charity. Have fun!
